Quota Hunt Deadline Extended

The deadline for accepting quota hunt applications for permits to hunt the Youth, Mobility-Impaired, Track, Airboat and Hutton Unit Quail hunts has been extended to August 5, 2002. The results of the Youth, Mobility-Impaired and Hutton Unit Quail random selections will be posted here on or about August 9. The number of airboat and track permits to be issued will not be determined until early September. Results of the random selection for airboats and tracks will be posted here on or about September 15, 2002.

What to Do if Rejected

Quota hunt applicants who discover they were not issued a regular or special quota hunt permit may reapply immediately. A list of available hunts is located at the top of the page under permit drawing results. Fill out a new application, just like the first time, except make new choices. Applications are available from tax collectors offices. You do not have to provide a copy of your wildlife management area permit when reapplying. Just write your wildlife management area stamp number on the application.
