QUOTA HUNT APPLICATION PERIODS AND DEADLINES

  1. Regular Nine-Day (general gun) and Special Hunt (archery and muzzleloading gun) applications are available June 1 from all tax collectors' offices and their subagents (tackle shops, sporting goods stores, etc.). Permits are issued by random selection from applications received from June 1 through June 11. Permits are issued first-come, first-served from applications received after June 11.

  2. Airboat, Track Vehicle, Youth Hunt, Hutton Unit Quail Hunt and Mobility-Impaired Persons Hunt applications are available June 27 from FWC offices only. Permits are issued by random selection from applications received from July 9 through 25.

  3. Spring Turkey quota applications are available October 27 from FWC offices and tax collector's offices. Permits are issued by random selection from applications received from November 3 through 12.

  4. Special-Opportunity deer, hog, and released quail hunt applications are available May 1 from FWC offices and on-line. Permits are issued by random selection from application received by June 16.

  5. Special-Opportunity spring turkey applications are available September 2 from FWC offices and on-line. Permits are issued by random selection from application received by October 15.
